TITLE
Setting up Currency Server to Work with Data
Provided by XE.com Inc.
|
|
TOPIC
Q: How do I quickly configure Currency
Server to work with my XE.com data feed subscription?
|
|
DISCUSSION
A: XE.com
Inc. (formerly Xenon Laboratories Inc.) makes available exchange rate
data in a variety of protocols and formats. Currency
Server supports the CSV (comma-separated values)
and XML formats of XE.com' Data Feed
Service. We recommend to ask for EUR as the base
currency unit when subscribing to the service.
The XE.com User Name,
which is required to access the data in CSV format,
can be entered during the setup of Currency
Server:
After Currency Server has been installed,
open Currency Server Manager to make sure that the
correct server configuration and User Name are set
in the FX Feeds tab:
For additional software-related information please
refer to the Currency
Server homepage. For data feed related inquiries
please refer to
XE.com website.
